Appalachian Villa

A hotel and community center associated with Appalachian Service Project, a non-profit organization located in Central Appalachia, that assists families while they are transitioning from inadequate housing to newly restored residences. Offering families an escape from the chaos of home restoration. Human-Centered Design was considered in the integration of communal areas such as, living, dining, and recreation, along with the privacy and security of suite style rooms. The color palette used throughout the space mimics the natural palettes and textures of the mountainous location
